MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF FOUR WHOLLY-OWNED CATHOLIC CEMETERIES ACROSS LONG ISLAND NY, REFLECTING THE DIOCESE OF ROCKVILLE CENTRE, INCLUDING OUR FOURTH CEMETERY WHICH IS OPEN FOR INTERMENTS AND IS ANTICIPATED TO BE FULLY OPERATIONAL BY FALL 2022. ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE APPROXIMATELY 2,700 COMMITTALS IN 2021, INCLUDING BURIALS, ENTOMBMENTS, AND INURNMENTS; THIS INCLUDES PREVIOUSLY-PURCHASED BURIAL PLOTS, AT-NEED BURIALS, AND BURIALS OF THE INDIGENT FOR THOSE FAITHFUL WHO CANNOT AFFORD BURIAL. CEMETERY STAFF AND QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS MAINTAIN EACH OF OUR FOUR PROPERTIES, WITH TOTAL ACREAGE IN EXCESS OF 450 ACRES, INCLUDING BURIAL GROUNDS, INTERIOR AND GARDEN MAUSOLEUM STRUCTURES, AND SUPPORT BUILDINGS.
