HOUSING - WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (WAP) ENABLES LOW-INCOME FAMILIES TO PERMANENTLY REDUCE THEIR ENERGY BILLS BY MAKING THEIR HOMES MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT. FUNDS ARE USED TO IMPROVE THE ENERGY PERFORMANCE OF DWELLINGS OF NEEDY FAMILIES USING THE MOST ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES AND TESTING PROTOCOLS AVAILABLE IN THE HOUSING INDUSTRY.
INCOME RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT - PROVIDES VARIOUS SERVICES TO RESIDENTS OF DUTCHESS COUNTY INCLUDING THE EARNED INCOME TAX CREDIT PROGRAM, DRESS FOR SUCCESS, SUITED TO SUCCEED, CASE MANAGEMENT, AND NED CORP. PROGRAMS. CLIENTS RECEIVE SERVICES TO HELP THEM REACH THEIR GOAL OF SELF-SUFFICIENCY. THIS MAY INCLUDE FREE TAX PREPARATION AND BUDGETING ADVICE, EMPLOYMENT RETENTION, RESUME CREATION, AND WORKFORCE READINESS SKILLS TRAINING, AS WELL AS ASSISTANCE WITH WORKPLACE ATTIRE. CLIENTS ARE ASSISTED WITH UTILIZING, ACCESSING, AND INCREASING THEIR RESOURCES TO IMPROVE THEIR LIVES.
