TO PROVIDE SPAY/NEUTER AND OTHER MEDICAL CARE FOR OWNED PETS AND PROVIDE RESCUE, REHABILITAITON, MEDICAL CARE, AND ADOPTION SERVICES FOR SURRENDERED HOMELESS AND NEGLECTED COMPANION ANIMALS. MISSION STATEMENT: THE COLVILLE VALLEY ANIMAL SANCTUARY IS DRIVEN TO INSPIRE THE PUBLIC THROUGH TRANSFORMING THE LIVES OF COMPANION ANIMALS IN NEED.

THE ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN WORKING DILIGENTLY TO BE MORE IN THE PUBLIC EYE BY ATTENDING AS MANY STEVENS COUNTY AND CITY EVENTS AS POSSIBLE. AT THESE EVENTS, WE EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT WHAT SERVICES WE PROVIDE : ANIMAL ADOPTIONS, VOLULENTEER COORDINATION, FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS ETC. WE HAVE JOINED FORCES WITH AMERICORP TO EXPAND OUR READING PROGRAM - FURY TALES - TO AN ACTUAL TUTORING, READING WITH ANIMALS, SNACK AND ACTIVITY EVENT ON SATURDAYS. OUR PET FOOD BANK HAS SEEN A DELCINE IN DONATIONS FROM WALMART, SO WE HAVE REACHED OUT TO OUR COMMUNITY AND THEY ARE HELPING US TO KEEP THE ANIMALS IN THE COMMUNITY FEED. DURING THE YEAR, THERE WERE 389 CAT INTAKES, 190 ADOPTIONS AND 128 TRANSFERS TO ALLIED AGENCIES IN WASHINGTON. THERE WERE 2 CATS REUNITED TO PET OWNERS. THERE WERE 47 DOG INTAKES, 32 ADOPTIONS, 6 TRANSFERS TO ALLIED AGENCIES IN WASHINGTON. 5 DOGS WERE REUNITED TO PET OWNER.
