TO PROTECT AND SUPPORT INDIGENOUS PEOPLES AND TRADITIONAL POPULATIONS OF THE RAINFOREST IN THEIR EFFORTS TO PROTECT THEIR ENVIRONMENT AND DEFEND THEIR RIGHTS, TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR COMMUNITIES, AND TO CHALLENGE GOVERNMENT PRACTICES WHICH HAVE A DAMAGING EFFECT ON THEIR ENVIRONMENT.

KENYA - THE CHEPKITALE INDIGENOUS PEOPLES DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (CIPDP).THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO SECURE CHEPKITALE OGIEK COMMUNITY ANCESTRAL LAND (MONITORED BY FOREST PEOPLE'S PROGRAMME).


CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC - RAINFOREST FOUNDATION UK - THIS PROJECT WORKS WITH THE INDIGENOUS BAYAKA PEOPLE AS WELL AS BANTU COMMUNITIES AND ENGAGES WITH 24 VILLAGES. THE PROJECT STRENGTHENS THE LIVELIHOODS OF THE COMMUNITIES AND ADVANCES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.


ECUADOR - THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO SUPPORT CEIBO ALLIANCE PROTECT THE RIGHTS AND LAND OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLES IN THE ECUADORIAN AMAZON.
