THE FOUNDATION OWNS AND OPERATES FOUR RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES LOCATED IN CONNECTICUT. THREE COMPRISE THE FOUNDATIONS'S TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM, WHICH PROVIDES UP TO TWENTY-FOUR HOMELESS VETERANS THE OPPORTUNITY TO LIVE IN A SECURE, SUPPORTED ENVIRONMENT WHILE EACH WORKS ON HIS RECOVERY. ONE RESIDENCE PROVIDES PERMANENT HOUSING TO SIX VETERANS. THE VETERANS REMAIN IN ACTIVE TREATMENT WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) WHILE THEY RESIDE IN THE HOUSES.
