THE INDUSTRIES PROVIDES DAY SERVICES TO PERSONS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. THESE SERVICES ARE FOCUSED ON JOB SKILLS TRAINING TO PREPARE INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES FOR WORKING IN THE COMMUNITY. THE TRAINING UTILITIZES A COMBINATION OF CLASSES AND PAID WORK EXPERIENCES AT THE FACILITY SUCH AS PARTS WASHING, SHREDDING, JANITORIAL WORK, ETC. THE PAID WORK EXPERIENCES ARE PROVIDED THROUGH CONTRACTS WITH LOCAL BUSINESSES.
RTC'S TRANSPORTATION IS THE PUBLIC TRANSIT SYSTEM FOR LOGAN COUNTY. IT IS AVAILABLE TO ALL CITIZENS OF LOGAN COUNTY. VEHICLES ARE ACCESSIBLE TO ACCOMMODATE THOSE WITH DISABILITIES. TRANSPORTATION IS AAILABLE WITHIN LOGAN COUNTY AND BEYOND. THE MAJORITY OF TRIPS ARE FOR MEDICAL APPINTMENTS AND EMPLOYMENT, BUT TRIPS CAN BE SCHEDULED FOR ANY REASON.
EMPLOYMENT SERVICES ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES IN OBTAINING AND MAINTAINING EMPLOYMENT AT LOCAL BUSINESSES IN THE COMMUNITY. THESE SERVICES CAN INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO JOB DEVELOPMENT, JOB COACHING, INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYMENT SUPPORTS, AND COMMUNITY-BASED ASSESSMENTS. THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED IN LOGAN COUNTY AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES.
