JAWONIO FOUNDATION, INC. WAS FOUNDED TO SUPPORT THE MISSION OF PROMOTING INDEPENDENCE TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. FOUNDATION FUNDING INCLUDES: THE DEVELOPMENT OF PILOT PROJECTS, CAPITAL PROJECTS AND PROGRAM ENHANCEMENTS UNFUNDED BY TRADITIONAL FUNDING SOURCES. THIS YEAR THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED UNFUNDED CHILDREN'S AND FAMILY EDUCATION PROGRAMS, SOCIAL ENTERPRISES, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES, EMPLOYMENT SERVICES FOR ADULTS AND RELATED SERVICES FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES WHO HAVE NO INSURANCE, AS WELL AS OUR EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAMS. THE JAWONIO FOUNDATION ALSO SUPPORTS COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE IN ALIGNMENT WITH OUR MISSION. JAWONIO PROMOTES HEALTHY LIVING ACROSS THE LIFESPAN FOR THOSE WHO SEEK OUR SERVICES.
