OUR CAREER COMPASS PROGRAMS PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE CAREER ASSESSMENT AND SERVICE PLANNING TO ASSIST ADULTS RECEIVING CASH ASSISTANCE ON EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT PATHWAYS THAT LEAD TO INCREASED INDEPENDENCE AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY. OFFICES ARE LOCATED IN MANHATTAN AND BROOKLYN.


SUCAP PROVIDES ASSESSMENT AND REFERRAL SERVICES TO PUBLIC ASSISTANC CLIENTS WHO MAY HAVE SUBSTANCE ABUSE RELATED BARRIERS TO WORK AND WELLNESS. PROGRAM STAFF LINK INDIVIDUALS TO CHEMICAL DEPENDENCE TREATMENT AND ALSO REVIEW PROGRESS TO ASSIST THEM IN RECOVERY, LEADING TO SELF-SUFFICIENCY. SUCAP HAS CONDUCTED MORE THAN 950,000 ASSESSMENTS IN SUPPORT OF NEW YORK CITY'S WELFARE REFORM INITIATIVE.


PROJECT ACE IS AN INTENSIVE, EMPLOYMENT-FOCUSED CASE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM THAT HELPS MORE THAN 1,000 NEW YORK CITY RESIDENTS ANNUALLY. STAFF CONDUCT COMPREHENSIVE CLIENT ASSESSMENTS AND DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT PERSON-CENTERED, INDIVIDUALIZED SERVICE PLANS. BY ADDRESSING HOUSING, SUBSTANCE USE AND MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS, HEALTH CARE NEEDS AND LEGAL BARRIERS, PROJECT ACE HELPS CLIENTS MOVE TOWARD ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE AND SELF-SUFFIEIENCY.
