MIRMONT IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING COMPASSIONATE, QUALITY TREATMENT TO ALL THOSE AFFECTED BY ALCOHOLISM, DRUG DEPENDENCY, AND OTHER MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES.

INPATIENT MEDICALLY MONITORED DETOXIFICATION AND REHABILITATION DETOXIFICATION FROM ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUGS IS OFTEN THE FIRST STEP ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY. TYPICALLY, DETOX LASTS 3 TO 5 DAYS DURING WHICH TIME THE PATIENT FOLLOWS A MEDICAL PROTOCOL, WHICH SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCES WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS UNTIL THE DETOX IS COMPLETE. AFTER A SUCCESSFUL DETOX, THE PATIENT ENTERS THE NEXT LEVEL OF CARE EITHER AS AN INPATIENT OR OUTPATIENT. THE REHAB PROGRAM ADDRESSES THE PHYSICAL, MENTAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL ASPECTS OF THE DISEASE OF ADDICTION. THROUGH PARTICIPATING IN DAILY GROUPS, INDIVIDUAL, AND FAMILY COUNSELING AND EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENTIAL SESSIONS, THE PATIENTS DEVELOP AN UNDERSTANDING OF THEMSELVES AND THEIR DISEASE WHICH IS THE GROUNDWORK FOR RECOVERY AND HEALING. THE LENGTH OF STAY FOR REHAB IS BASED ON THE INDIVIDUAL NEEDS OF THE PATIENT.
INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT AND INDIVIDUAL THERAPY THE INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM ALLOWS PARTICIPANTS TO RESIDE AT HOME AND CONDUCT THEIR LIVES WHILE BENEFITING FROM A STRUCTURED AND SUPPORTIVE LEVEL OF CARE THAT MEETS THREE TIMES A WEEK. THE THREE-HOUR SESSIONS CONSIST OF EDUCATIONAL AND GROUP THERAPY COMPONENTS AND ARE CONDUCTED MORNINGS AND EVENINGS IN ORDER TO ACCOMMODATE PARTICIPANTS' VARIED WORK SCHEDULES. THE INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM CAN EITHER BE THE INITIAL TREATMENT EXPERIENCE FOR THE PATIENT OR THE NEXT LEVEL OF CARE AFTER COMPLETING AN INPATIENT PROGRAM. INDIVIDUAL THERAPY INVOLVES MEETING ONCE A WEEK TO DISCUSS AND EXPLORE ISSUES OF EARLY RECOVERY. THEMES THAT MAY EMERGE ARE RELATIONSHIPS, STRESS, ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL TRAUMA, SPIRITUALITY, AND OTHER LIFE ISSUES. MIRMONT ALSO PROVIDES OUTPATIENT SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WITH PSYCHIATRIC AND EMOTIONAL DISORDERS AT LOCATIONS IN BROOMALL AND EXTON, PA.
