THE CELEBRATE ISRAEL PARADE IS THE WORLD'S LARGEST PUBLIC GATHERING IN SUPPORT OF ISRAEL. EACH YEAR, THE PARADE ENGAGES TENS OF THOUSANDS OF MARCHERS, AS WELL AS HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF SPECTATORS ACROSS THE GLOBE. THE PARADE ALSO SERVES AS THE SINGULAR EVENT EACH YEAR WHEREIN REPRESENTATIVES FROM EVERY SEGMENT OF THE NEW YORK JEWISH COMMUNITY COME TOGETHER TO SHOW THEIR SOLIDARITY WITH AND AFFECTION FOR THE JEWISH AND DEMOCRATIC STATE OF ISRAEL. DUE TO COVID-19, THERE WAS NO PARADE HELD DURING THE FISCAL YEAR.

GOVERNMENT RELATIONS PROGRAM: AFTER THE DOMESTIC TERROR ATTACK ON THE TREE OF LIFE SYNAGOGUE IN PITTSBURGH, JCRC RECEIVED A UJA FEDERATION GRANT TO ASSIST JEWISH INSTITUTIONS IN NEW YORK IN ELEVATING THEIR SECURITY SITUATION. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, OVER 200 SYNAGOGUES, YESHIVAS, AND OTHER AFFILIATES WERE PROVIDED WITH AN ASSESSMENT OF THEIR SECURITY NEEDS.
