DURING THIS REPORTING PERIOD, THE NUMBER OF INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES WORKING ON NYSID PREFERRED SOURCE CONTRACTS TOTALED 4,794 (EARNINGS AND WAGES IN EXCESS OF $79.8 MILLION). PREFERRED SOURCE EMPLOYMENT PROVIDES SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC ADVANTAGES TO PEOPLE AND FISCAL SUPPORT TO NEW YORK STATE.
