YOUNG SCHOLARS PROGRAM - SUPPORTS A GROWING NETWORK OF EARLY CAREER SCHOLARS TAKING ON RESEARCH PROJECTS THAT ARE POLICY- AND PRACTICE-RELEVANT AND, AT THIS TIME, EXAMINE THE PREPARATION, COMPENSATION, WELL-BEING, AND ON-GOING PROFESSIONAL LEARNING OF THE EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION WORKFORCE. THE FOUNDATION AWARDS GRANTS TO SUPPORT THEIR WORK, CONVENES MEETINGS AND WORKSHOPS THAT ENCOURAGE NETWORKING AND MENTORING, AND PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TO BUILD RESEARCH AND COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS. THIS PROGRAM HAS PROVIDED SUPPORT TO 70 YOUNG SCHOLARS AND 15 PROMISING SCHOLARS.
