THE TBLC ORGANIZES AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE WHICH PROVIDES A VENUE FOR EDUCATORS, SCHOLARS, AND SUPPORTING FACULTY THAT HAVE IMPLEMENTED OR WISH TO IMPLEMENT TEAM-BASED LEARNING.
THE TBLC IS A MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION IN WHICH MEMBERS PAY ANNUAL DUES. ALL MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING HAVE THE RIGHT TO VOTE, HOLD OFFICE, AND SERVE ON COMMITTEES.
TBLC ORGANIZES REGIONAL WORKSHOPS SUCH AS "TEAM-BASED LEARNING 101" THAT PROVIDE ATTENDEES WITH THE RESOURCES AND MATERIALS NEEDED TO IMPLEMENT TEAM-BASED LEARNING IN THE CLASSROOMS. MATERIALS SUCH AS BOOKS, VOTING CARDS, SMALL WHITE BOARDS, AND VARIOUS OTHER USEFUL ITEMS ARE PROVIDED TO THE ATTENDEES.
THE TBLC SUPPORTS AND ENCOURAGES RESEARCH AND SCHOLARSHIP IN TEAM-BASED LEARNING. TO HELP ITS MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN OPPORTUNITIES THAT PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP, THE TBLC PROVIDES FUNDING TO INITATE NEW EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH OR EVALUATION PROPOSALS.
