THE FOUNDATION IS AN EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY WHICH SEEKS TO SERVE ITS MEMBERS, MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS, AND THE PUBLIC BY FOSTERING THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE IN FACIAL PLASTIC AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY. THE MISSION STATEMENT OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO SUPPORT EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS OF AAFPRS MEMBERS IN THE SERVICE OF PATIENTS.

EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS - THE AAFPRS FOUNDATION HAS CONSISTENTLY PROVIDED QUALITY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR THE DISSEMINATION OF KNOWLEDGE AND INFORMATION AMONG FACIAL PLASTIC SURGEONS. IN 2022 THE FOUNDATION HELD 3 MEETINGS WITH OVER 1,000 DOCTORS IN ATTENDANCE.
FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM - THE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM OF THE AAFPRS FOUNDATION IS WIDELY RESPECTED BY THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY AND REPRESENTS THE FINEST POST-GRADUATE PROGRAM IN THE WORLD FOR TRAINING OF FACIAL PLASTIC SURGEONS. SINCE ITS BEGINNING IN 1969, THIS PROGRAM HAS PREPARED MORE THAN 1,500 HIGHLY SPECIALIZED EXPERTS TO BE EDUCATORS AND LEADERS IN FACIAL PLASTIC SURGERY.
CME/LEARNING CENTER/PUBLICATIONS - THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES AN EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL WEBSITE TO MEMBERS WHICH INCLUDES CME COURSES, WEBINARS AND INFORMATIONAL ARTICLES.
