THE CHANCE IS DEDICATED TO THE CREATION OF EXCITING THEATRICAL EXPERIENCES, TAKING ARTISTIC RISKS, AND COLLABORATING WITH GIFTED ARTISTS ON PASSIONATE AND PROVOCATIVE PLAYS AND MUSICALS. THE MISSION OF THE CHANCE IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO A MORE COMPASSIONATE, CONNECTED, AND CREATIVE COMMUNITY.

2022 SEASON, CHANCE THEATER SOLD TICKETS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR THE MAIN SERIES PRODUCTIONS -- "NEXT TO NORMAL," "CRY IT OUT," "GREEN DAY'S AMERICAN IDIOT," "THE ELABORATE ENTRANCE OF CHAD DEITY," "LITTLE WOMEN - THE BROADWAY MUSICAL, AND "FANCY NANCY: SPLENDIFEROUS CHRISTMAS".


BOOKED-IN EVENTS: HOSTED EVENTS FEATURING LOCAL ARTISTS, INCLUDING OPEN MIC NIGHTS AND NEW PLAY WORKSHOPS.


SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAM - "SPEAK UP - TAKE A CHANCE", A PROGRAM THAT OFFERS AT-RISK YOUTH FROM ANAHEIM UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT THE OPPORTUNITY TO PRESENT THEIR OWN PIECE OF ORIGINAL THEATER (PARTICIPATING IN THE WRITING, DIRECTING, ACTING, DESIGNING, MARKETING, ETC.) UNDER THE TUTELAGE OF CHANCE THEATER RESIDENT ARTISTS. THANKS TO GRANTS WE RECEIVE, WE ARE ABLE TO OFFER THIS PROGRAM FREE-OF-CHARGE.


ON THE RADAR NEW PLAY SERIES - CHANCE THEATER PRODUCED SIX STAGED READINGS IN-PERSON OR VIRTUALLY -- "THEY COULD GIVE NO NAME," "CRIMSON LIT - SCARLET LETTER SETLIST," "MATINICUS - A LIGHTHOUSE PLAY," "HONGO," "WE AIN'T EVER GONNA BREAK UP - THE HYMON & PARFUNKEL STORY, AND "A THOUSAND MAIDS".
