CAREER TRAINING PROGRAMS- TRAINING PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO LEARN COMPETITIVE AND MARKETABLE SKILLS IN ORDER TO ENTER THE JOB MARKET AND ACHIEVE SUSTAINABILITY. INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES ARE REFERRED TO TRI BY ADULT CAREER AND CONTINUING EDUCATION SERVICES - VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION (ACCES-VR) FOR CORE REHABILITATIVE SERVICES OR BUREAU OF PROPRIETARY SCHOOL SUPERVISION PLACEMENT, AND THE OFFICE OF MENTAL HEALTH TO RECEIVE VOCATIONAL TRAINING FUNDED BY THESE AGENCIES.
DAY PROGRAMS- TRI PROVIDES HABILITATIVE SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES WHO ARE ENROLLED IN THE NEW YORK STATE MEDICAID WAIVER PROGRAM. TRI PROVIDES LIFE SKILLS AND COMMUNITY OUTING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THESE INDIVIDUALS.

TRI PROVIDES SUPPORT SERVICES THROUGH GROUP WORK IN LIFE SKILLS, SOCIAL SKILLS, JOB READINESS AND VOCATIONAL ACADEMICS. REFERRALS ARE MADE THROUGH SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND BOCES FOR TRANSITIONAL PLANNING.
WORK PROGRAMS - UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE NEW YORK STATE OFFICE OF MENTAL HEALTH, AND FUNDING ASSISTED BY THE OFFICE FOR PEOPLE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, TRI PROVIDES LONG TERM SHELTERED EMPLOYMENT AND A TRANSFORMED BUSINESS MODEL TO PEOPLE WITH MENTAL ILLNESS. THESE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO HELP PEOPLE ACHIEVE THEIR OWN VOCATIONAL GOALS IN A SETTING THAT PROVIDES FACILITY BASED EMPLOYMENT, WITH A GOAL OF GAINFUL COMMUNITY-BASED EMPLOYMENT.
