DAY SUPPORT OPTIONS: DAY SUPPORT OPTIONS PROGRAM PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR 83 PARTICIPANTS TO ENGAGE IN A WIDE VARIETY OF SOCIAL, RECREATIONAL, AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES. THE THERAPEUTIC ENVIRONMENT INCLUDES A MULTI-SENSORY ROOM AND AN OUTDOOR PARK, BOTH OF WHICH PROMOTE SENSORY STIMULATION AND RELAXATION.
RESIDENTIAL: PROVIDES RESIDENTS WITH A LIVING ENVIRONMENT WHICH FOSTERS INDEPENDENCE, PERSONAL GROWTH, AND COMMUNITY INCLUSION. RESIDENTS ARE PROVIDED WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH IN ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING, DECISION-MAKING SKILLS, LEISURE SKILLS, COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES. 38 RESIDENTS RECEIVE GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT FROM STAFF REGARDING EMPLOYMENT, FINANCES, AND MEDICAL SERVICES.
SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM: PROVIDES INDIVIDUALS WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONAL GROWTH AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT. THE AREAS WE FOCUS ON ARE VOCATIONAL TRAINING, ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING, AND COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE. OUTCOMES OF THIS PROGRAM MAY INCLUDE EARNING A PAYCHECK, INCREASING INDEPENDENCE IN DAILY LIVING ACTIVITIES, AND ENHANCING SOCIAL GROWTH. THE WORK PROGRAM WAS PROVIDED TO 53 INDIVIDUALS THIS YEAR.
