THE SHELTER PROVIDES BASIC HOUSING, FOOD, CLOTHING, AND PERSONAL CARE ITEMS TO WATERBURY AREA INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR CHILDREN WHO ARE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. THE SHELTER ALSO PROVIDES COUNSELING AND ADVOCACY FOR CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LEGAL ISSUES.
PROVIDED FREE COMPREHENSIVE AND CONFIDENTIAL SERVICES TO VICTIMS OF SEXUAL ASSULT AND THEIR FAMILIES; TO INCREASE COMMUNITY AWARENESS ABOUT SEXUAL ASSAULT IN AN ATTEMPT TO REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF VIOLENCE.
