THE MISSION OF CONNECTICUT ALLIANCE TO END SEXUAL VIOLENCE IS TO CREATE COMMUNITIES FREE OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE AND TO PROVIDE CULTURALLY AFFIRMING, TRAUMA-INFORMED ADVOCACY, PREVENTION, AND INTERVENTION SERVICES CENTERED ON THE VOICES OF SURVIVORS. THE ALLIANCE ENVISIONS AND HOPES TO CREATE A WORLD IN WHICH EVERYONE BELIEVES SEXUAL VIOLENCE IS A PREVENTABLE PROBLEM AND ACTIVELY PLAYS A ROLE IN ENDING IT.

DIRECT SERVICES - THE ALLIANCE OFFERS COMPREHENSIVE, SURVIVOR-CENTERED, AND TRAUMA-INFORMED SERVICES TO CHILD, ADOLESCENT, AND ADULT SURVIVORS ACROSS THE STATE. AS THE STATE'S COALITION OF NINE COMMUNITY-BASED SEXUAL ASSAULT CRISIS SERVICE CENTERS, THE ALLIANCE DELIVERS 24/7 CRISIS INTERVENTION AND SUPPORT, INCLUDING HOTLINE SERVICES, COUNSELING, SUPPORT GROUPS, AND ACCOMPANIMENT IN HOSPITAL, POLICE, AND COURT SETTINGS, AS WELL AS ADVOCACY AND LEGAL SERVICES TO BOTH PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SURVIVORS NAVIGATING CRIMINAL AND CIVIL MATTERS TO ENSURE THAT THEY RECEIVE THE SUPPORT THEY NEED DURING COMPLEX PROCESSES.
TRAINING, EDUCATION & TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE - THE ALLIANCE PROVIDES TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS, WORKPLACES, SCHOOLS, AND COMMUNITIES TO IMPROVE THE RESPONSE TO AND PREVENTION OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE. THROUGH TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR THEIR MEMBER CENTERS, COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAMS, AND SURVIVOR SERVICES, THE ALLIANCE EQUIPS COMMUNITIES TO PREVENT, ELIMINATE AND HEAL FROM SEXUAL VIOLENCE.
