SUMMER DAY PROGRAM-CONSISTS OF SEVERAL SESSIONS DURING THE SUMMER VACATION PERIOD FOR CHILDREN AGES 4-12. APPROXIMATELY 675 CHILDREN PARTICIPATE. DAY CAMP ACTIVITIES ARE NATURE ORIENTED.
SCHOOL PROGRAMS-PROVIDE IN-SCHOOL PRESENTATIONS AT STUDENT ASSEMBLIES, CLASSROOM VISITS AND FIELD TRIPS. CURRICULUM AREAS INCLUDE LIFE PHYSICAL AND EARTH SCIENCES AND EARLY AMERICAN HISTORY. PROGRAMS ARE TAILORED FOR NEEDS OF PRESCHOOL, ELEMENTARY, GIFTED, AND TALENTED AND SPECIAL EDUCATION STUDENTS. SCHOOL VACATION DAY PROGRAMS ARE BASED ON SCIENCES AND EARLY AMERICAN HISTORY
COMMUNITY PROGRAMS-INCLUDE WEEKEND AND EVENING PROJECTS CONSISTING OF NATURE WALKS AND RELATED ACTIVITIES, WORKSHOPS TO DEVELOP OUTDOOR SKILLS AND CRAFTS. ALSO INCLUDED IS PETER PRATT NATURE SCHOOL
