GRANTS AND PARTNER WORKWE MEAN BUSINESS COALITION RECEIVES AND DISBURSES GRANT SUPPORT FROM OUR FUNDERS TO THE GRANTEES. THROUGHOUT THE FULL PROCESS OF GRANTING FUNDS, THE WMBC WORKS VERY CLOSELY WITH EACH STAKEHOLDER COMMUNITY TO EXECUTE THE COALITION'S STRATEGY - THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, REGRANTS COMMITTEE, AND GRANTEES.
COMMUNICATIONSTHE WMBC COMMUNICATIONS TEAM WORKS WITH A GRANTEES TO FOCUS ON THE DELIVERY OF THE COALITION COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGY, INCLUDING SHIFTING THE NARRATIVE ON BUSINESS AND CLIMATE CHANGE TO TELL INSPIRING STORIES OF SYSTEMS CHANGE, DELIVERING POWERFUL MESSAGES FROM BUSINESS TO POLICYMAKERS TO BOLSTER CLIMATE POLICY IN PRIORITY GEOGRAPHIES, AND SUPPORTING THE STRENGTHENING OF WHAT CORPORATE CLIMATE LEADERSHIP MEANS.
POLICY THE COALITION HAS ALSO TRANSLATED PROGRESSIVE POLICY CHANGE BACK TO COMPANIES AS A CATALYST FOR INCREASING THEIR OWN LEVEL OF AMBITION. THUS, A VIRTUOUS CIRCLE BETWEEN ADVOCACY AND ACTION IS CREATED. IN THIS NEW CYCLE, THE COALITION WILL BROADEN ITS POLICY INFLUENCE BEYOND CLIMATE POLICY MAKERS TO FINANCE, INDUSTRY, TRANSPORT AND AGRICULTURE MINISTRIES. WHETHER PROCUREMENT OR TRADE POLICIES, INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION, STIMULUS PACKAGES OR ECONOMIC FRAMEWORKS, THE COALITION WILL SEIZE OPPORTUNITIES TO INFLUENCE POLICY RELATED TO OUR STRATEGIC PILLARS.
