THE PURPOSE OF THE INSTITUTE IS TO ENGAGE IN CHARITABLE AND SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ACADEMIC, MEDICAL AND RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS AND PUBLIC BENEFIT CORPORATIONS AFFILIATED WITH AND CONTROLLING THE INSTITUTE.
