UN SPEAKERS INCLUDED THE PRESIDENT OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY DENNIS FRANCIS AND PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVES OF GERMANY AND NAMIBIA, AMBS. ANTJE LEENDERTSE AND NEVILLE GERTZE, CO-FACILITATORS OF THE SUMMIT OF THE FUTURE. THE CONFERENCE WAS ORGANIZED IN PARNTERSHIP WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ERFURT AND HELD AT THE TOWN HALL, REGIONAL PARLIAMENT AND HUMAN RIGHTS MUSEUM AS PART OF THE THEME OF BRIDGING EAST AND WEST WHILE ALSO CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF GERMAN MEMBERSHIP IN THE UN.
