GWL PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS INVEST IN PLACE-BASED RESTORATION AND REVITALIZATION PROJECTS, BUILDING FROM THE GROUND UP, MATCHED WITH COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, EDUCATION, WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, AND HEALTHY FOOD ACCESS PROGRAMMING TO BUILD A HEALTHY AND PROSPEROUS COMMUNITY. THIS SUPPORTS ONGOING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, INCREASES WEALTH, AND BUILDS UPON THE ENERGY AND COMMITMENT OF RESIDENTS WHILE "CHANGING PLACES, CHANGING LIVES, AND CHANGING SYSTEMS."
GWL EMERGENCY RELIEF EFFORTS:PROVIDES RESIDENTS AND BUSINESS OWNERS OF LAWRENCE, MA AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND ACCESS TO HEALTHY FOOD THROUGH THE RECEIPT AND MANAGEMENT OF FOUNDATION, GOVERNMENT, CORPORATE, AND INDIVIDUAL DOLLARS DESIGNATED TO BE USED DURING TIMES OF CRISIS AND EMERGENCIES SUCH AS THE 2018 GAS EXPLOSIONS AND THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
