MARILLAC RESIDENCE PROMOTES "AGING IN PLACE" FOR AS LONG AS IT IS SAFE FOR THE RESIDENT TO DO SO. MARILLAC RESIDENCE'S PROGRAMS AND SERVICES ARE BASED ON THE FIVE PILLARS OF WELLNESS: INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL, SPIRITUAL, PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL.MARILLAC RESIDENCE OFFERS OPPORTUNITIES FOR LEARNING, SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT, RELIGIOUS EXPRESSION, SOCIAL AND GLOBAL JUSTICE ACTIVITIES, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. OUR GOAL IS TO MAXIMIZE THE RESIDENTS' INDEPENDENCE AND PROVIDE A SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT, WELL-BEING AND CONFIDENCE IN THEIR ABILITY TO MAINTAIN A MEANINGFUL QUALITY OF LIFE.RENOVATION COMPLETED IN 2013 HELP TO ENCOURAGE RESIDENT INDEPENDENCE. ROOMS WERE ENLARGED AND ENSUITE BATHROOMS ADDED; ALL ROOMS HAVE CALL BELLS AND RESIDENTS ARE GIVEN LIFELINE PENDANTS FOR USE IN THE BUILDING. SAFETY, HEALTH AND WELLNESS ARE PRIORITIES.
