THE MISSION OF THE HAMPTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS TO INCREASE PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE HISTORY AND CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE TOWN OF HAMPTON, NEW HAMPSHIRE, FROM ITS EARLIEST INHABITANTS TO THE PRESENT GENERATION. WE WILL COMMUNICATE THAT HISTORY THROUGH AN ACTIVE MUSEUM, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AND A RESOURCE LIBRARY.

OPERATE THE TUCK MUSEUM AT 40 PARK AVENUE IN HAMPTON, NH. MUSEUM IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AT NO CHARGE. ASSIST VISITORS WITH TOURS AND RESEARCH. SCHOOL TOURS OFFERED TO LOCAL SCHOOLS AT NO CHARGE, 225 CHILDREN ATTENDED WITH TEACHERS AND PARENTS. 1300 ADULTS VISITED THE MUSEUM DURING THE YEAR.
MAINTAIN BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS OF MUSEUM, 7 BUILDINGS ON 2 SITES.
PROGRAMS AND NEWSLETTERS- OFFERED PROGRAMS TO GENERAL PUBLIC IN AREAS OF HISTORIC INTEREST, PROVIDED NEWSLETTERS TO MEMBERSHIP AND GENERAL PUBLIC THRU MAILINGS AND WEBSITE.
