THE CHCC GATHERED INFORMATION TO PROVIDE THIS EDUCATION IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: - MAINTAINED A SEAT ON THE CAL HOSPITAL COMPARE (FORMALLY CHART) BOARD OF DIRECTORS WHICH DEVELOPS QUALITY MEASUREMENTS FOR RATING AND COMPARING CALIFORNIA HOSPITAL SERVICES. - PARTICIPATION IN VARIOUS STATEWIDE AND NATIONAL STAKEHOLDER EFFORTS FOR COST TRANSPARENCY AND PAYOR ENGAGEMENT, INCLUDING THE CALIFORNIA OSHPD ALL PAYOR CLAIMS DATABASE INITIATIVE TO AGGREGATE HEALTH CARE DATA TO CREATE AN ACTIONABLE RESOURCE FOR CALIFORNIA HEALTH CARE PURCHASERS; THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE OF HEALTHCARE PURCHASER COALITIONS TO SHARE BEST PRACTICE INFORMATION ACROSS NATIONAL PAYOR LEADERS; THE CALIFORNIA PURCHASERS CO-OPERATIVE TO ENGAGE ACCESSING INDUSTRY-LEADING PUBLICATIONS AND INFORMATION SHARING.
