STARTING FROM A PLACE OF CORRECTING RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN INDIGENOUS AND NON-INDIGENOUS PEOPLE, WE CULTIVATE A CULTURE OF CARE TO SUPPORT THE HEALTH AND HEALING OF PEOPLE, AND COMMUNITIES OF PLANTS AND ANIMALS WHICH ARE CRITICAL FOR OUR SURVIVAL AND THRIVING.

THE ORGANIZATION PRIMARILY FOCUSED ON BUILDING INTERNAL CAPACITY TO SET UP THE EARLY INFRASTRUCTURE AND IMPROVEMENTS OF THE FARM ON 1570 LA HONDA ROAD AS WELL AS LAUNCHING ITS FARMING IS MEDICINE PROGRAM WITH FOOD DISTRIBUTIONS TO OUR PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS. SOME OF THE IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDED EXTENSIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE WATER SYSTEMS, RAINWATER CATCHMENT SYSTEM WITH UNDERGROUND CISTERNS, IRRIGATION, UPGRADING FARMER HOUSING, PURCHASING TOOLS, A WALK BEHIND TRACTOR WITH A FLEET OF IMPLEMENTS AS WELL AS MATERIALS FOR BARN IMPROVEMENTS, PROPAGATION EQUIPMENT, A GREENHOUSE, ROAD WORK, PERENNIAL PLANTS AND SEEDS.
