THE ELECTRIFICATION COALITION FOUNDATION IS A NONPARTISAN, 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO PROMOTING ACTIONS THAT FACILITATE THE DEPLOYMENT OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES ON A MASS SCALE IN ORDER TO COMBAT THE ECONOMIC, ENVIRONMENTAL, AND NATIONAL SECURITY DANGERS CAUSED BY OUR NATION'S DEPENDENCE ON PETROLEUM.THE FOUNDATION SEEKS TO ACHIEVE ITS GOALS THROUGH A COMBINATION OF PUBLIC POLICY RESEARCH, ANALYSIS, PUBLICATION, PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT, AND MEDIA OUTREACH.

EDUCATION, ORGANIZING, AND RESEARCH - TO INFORM THE GENERAL PUBLIC, OPINION LEADERS AND KEY DECISION MAKERS ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF DEPLOYING ELECTRIC VEHICLES ON A MASS SCALE IN ORDER TO COMBAT THE ECONOMIC, ENVIRONMENTAL AND NATIONAL SECURITY DANGERS CAUSED BY THE US TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM'S DEPENDENCE ON OIL. IN ADDITION, THE EC DEVELOPS INITIATIVES THAT PROMOTE ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) ADOPTION AT LOCAL STATE AND NATIONAL LEVEL LIKE OUR COMMUNITIES: INCLUDES ENGAGEMENT WITH OUR PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR PARTNERS TO DRIVE EV ADOPTION. THEY ALSO INCLUDE DEVELOPING EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR THE CREATION OF STATE PUBLIC POLICIES TO ENABLE GREATER ADOPTION OF EVS.


POLICY DEVELOPMENT - TO PRESENT A SET OF RECOMMENDATIONS TO ADDRESS THE IMPORTANCE OF DEPLOYING ELECTRIC VEHICLES WITH ECONOMIC AND POLICY EXPERTS, PERTINENT ORGANIZATIONS AND LEADERS IN APPLICABLE INDUSTRIES.
