ANNUAL STREAM RESTORATION DESIGN SYMPOSIUM - THE SYMPOSIUM COVERS PLANNING, DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, MONITORING, AND EVALUATION PHASES OF STREAM RESTORATION. THE AUDIENCE CONSISTS OF GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, CONSULTANTS, VOLUNTEER GROUPS, NATIVE AMERICANS TRIBES, WATERSHED COUNCILS, FISHERY ENHANCEMENT GROUPS, SALMON RECOVERY ORGANIZATIONS, LEAD ENTITIES, AND NGO'S. THIS YEAR THE REGISTRATION WAS LIMITED TO APPROXIMATELY 250 ATTENDEES FOR COVID SAFETY MEASURES.


SHORT COURSES - THE ORGANIZATION HOLDS OCCASIONAL SHORT COURSES ON RELEVANT PRACTITIONER TOPICS. THESE ARE ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 40 PEOPLE PER COURSE, AND EACH COURSE IS BETWEEN ONE AND THREE DAYS DURATION. THE SHORT COURSES WERE HELD VIRTUALLY THIS YEAR.


FILM EVENT - THE ORGANIZATION HOLDS AN ANNUAL RESTORATION THEMED FILM EVENT. THE EVENT CONSISTS OF A SERIES OF RESTORATION THEMED SHORT FILMS SUBMITTED BY PRACTITIONERS IN THE RESTORATION COMMUNITY FOLLOWED BY DISCUSSION.
