HILLEL ENVISIONS A WORLD WHERE EVERY STUDENT IS EMPOWERED TO MAKE AN ENDURING COMMITMENT TO JEWISH LIFE, LEARNING, AND ISRAEL.

ISRAEL PROGRAMMING - WE HOST TWO ISRAEL ADVOCACY EVENTS, AROMA CAFE AND A DAY OF INDEPENDENCE PARTY, WHICH ARE SOME OF THE LARGEST EVENTS ON CAMPUS EACH YEAR. WE SEND STUDENTS ON A BIRTHRIGHT-ISRAEL EXPERIENCE EACH WINTER AND SUMMER BREAK FOR TEN DAYS. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, NUMEROUS SPEAKER EVENTS AND LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES ARE MADE AVAILABLE REGARDING ISRAEL. ALL PROGRAMS ARE OPEN TO ANY UNDERGRADUATE BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY STUDENT.
GENERAL PROGRAMMING - WE PROVIDE A HOLISTIC JEWISH EXPERIENCE ON BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY'S CAMPUS THROUGH DAILY SOCIAL, CULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL, OR RELIGIOUS PROGRAMMING. STUDENTS PLAN AND IMPLEMENT THESE PROGRAMS TO REFLECT THEIR CURRENT INTERESTS IN LIFE. ALL PROGRAMS ARE OPEN TO ANY UNDERGRADUATE BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY STUDENT.
SHABBAT AND HOLIDAY EXPERIENCES - WE PROVIDE A WEEKLY SHABBAT EXPERIENCE EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR. HILLEL PROVIDES NUMEROUS RELIGIOUS SERVICES, THREE FESTIVE MEALS, AND PROGRAMMING FOR STUDENTS TO ELEVATE THEIR SHABBAT OBSERVANCE. ADDITIONALLY, THESE OPPORTUNITIES ARE OFFERED FOR EVERY JEWISH HOLIDAY WHILE STUDENTS ARE ON CAMPUS. ALL PROGRAMS ARE OPEN TO ANY UNDERGRADUATE BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY STUDENT.
