MARSHALL POINT LIGHTHOUSE MUSEUM AT PORT CLYDE-BESIDES BEING OPEN FOR THE SUMMER SEASON AND OFFERING AN INSIGHT INTO THE HISTORY OF THE LIGHHOUSE SINCE 1832, IT PROVIDES A GLIMPSE OF THE LOCAL FISHING AND MARITIME ACTIVITIES AND PROVIDES TO LOCAL STUDENTS SEVERAL SCHOLARSHIPS TO FUTHER THEIR EDUCATION.
TO PRESERVE, PROTECT AND SHARE WITH THE PUBLIC THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE SCHOOLHOUSE MUSEUM, OPEN A FEW DAYS DURING THE SUMMER AND BY APPOINTMENT. MOST NOTABLY HOSTING VISITS FROM THE NEARBY SCHOOL.
THE OLD LIBRARY MUSEUM IS LOCATED IN TENANTS HARBOR AND SERVES AS HEADQUARTERS FOR THE SOCIETY, OFFERING DISPLAYS DURING TEH SUMMER SEASON PLUS MAINTAINING A WEBSITE AND PROVIDING MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS. DURING THE SUMMER SEASON THE SOCIETY ALSO DOES MONTHLY PROGRAMS THAT INCLUDE XOOM MEETINGS AND WALKING TOURS OF CEMETERIES AND VILLAGES.
