1. HAWAII CULTURAL PROGRAM: LCI PROVIDES KUPUNAS (TEACHERS) TO FOSTER THE HAWAIIAN CULTURE AMONG ELEMENTARY STUDENTS. THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY 2 DIFFERENT CLASSES OFFERED AND 105 CHILD ATTENDEES. 2. HULA FESTIVAL: THIS EVENT PROMOTES AND NURTURES THE HAWAIIAN CULTURE THROUGH THE ART OF HULA FROM DISTINGUISHED KUMU HULAS WITH HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WHO ARE INVITED TO THIS ANNUAL EVENT. 3. MELE/HULA CONCERT: TO CELEBRATE HAWAIIAN SONG AND DANCE, AS THIS IS JUST ONE MORE WAY TO SHARE IT BY BRINGING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE THE BEAUTY OF OUR MELE AND HULA. 4. KAPOLEI MIDDLE SCHOOL KUPUNA PROGRAM: LCI PROVIDES KUPUNAS (TEACHERS) TO FOSTER THE HAWAIIAN CULTURE AMONG 7TH GRADE STUDENTS. THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY 1 CLASS OFFERED AND 38 CHILD ATTENDEES.
