SCHOLARSHIPS WERE GRANTED TO SCHOLAR-ATHLETES WHO PARTICIPATE IN SPORTS INCLUDING SWIMMING, DIVING, WATER POLO, VOLLEYBALL, CANOEING, SURFING, SAILING, AND KAYAKING.
ATHLETIC GRANTS WERE GIVEN TO ORGANIZATIONS AND TEAMS TO COMPETE IN LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL ATHLETIC COMPETITIONS. THESE INCLUDED COMPETITIONS IN SWIMMING, DIVING, KAYAKING, PADDLEBOARD, WATER POLO, VOLLEYBALL, CANOEING, SAILING, AND SURFING.
OUTRIGGER DUKE KAHANAMOKU FOUNDATION (ODKF) WAS CREATED TO FINANCIALLYSUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS THAT PERPETUATE THE SPIRIT AND LEGACY OF DUKE PAOA KAHANAMOKU.
