DURING THE YEAR, THE SANTA BARBARA VOLLEYBALL CLUB TAUGHT AND TRAINED APPROXIMATELY 300 GIRLS AND BOYS AGES 8 - 18 TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL. PARTICIPATION INCLUDED REGULAR PRACTICE SESSIONS, TEAM COMPETITION AT VARIOUS TOURNAMENTS, EDUCATION THROUGH CLINICS, AND TRAVEL THROUGHOUT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. IN ADDITION, SOME TEAMS QUALIFIED FOR JUNIOR NATIONALS.
