BUILDING MARKETS' SUSTAINABLE MARKETPLACE PROGRAM IN TURKEY WORKS WITH SYRIAN OWNED BUSINESSES TO HELP THEM BETTER ASSIMILATE INTO THEIR HOST COMMUNITIES, AND BUILD LONG TERM LIVLIHOODS FOR REFUGEES AND THEIR HOST COMMUNITIES. IN THE LAST YEAR THE PROGRAM HELPED BUSINESSES GENERATE 12.8 MILLION DOLLARS IN REVENUE AND GENERATE 2,226 JOBS.
BUILDING MARKETS WORKS WITH RECYCLING SMES IN MYANMAR TO HELP REDUCE WASTE AND ENSURE THAT THE COLLECTION RATE FOR PTE AND ALLUMINIUM IS HIGHER FOR THE MARKET. IN THE PAST YEAR MYAMNAR'S TEAM HELPED INCREASE THE COLLECTION RATE OF PTES BY 18.6% AMONGST SMES WITH WHOM WE WORK.
