THE CENTER PREDOMINANTLY SERIVICES LOW-INCOME, YOUTH, ADULTS, SENIORS,AND FAMILIES OF BLACK INDIGENOUS,PEOPLE OF COLORS(BIPOC)LIVING IN THE UNINCORPORATED EAST LOS ANGELES AND ITS SURRONDING COMMUNITIES.SERVICES INLCUDE: 1.EDUCATION AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT SERVICES2.HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS3 OPERATION OF THE EAST LOS ANGELES FARMERS MARKET, A WEEKLY MARKET PROVIDING CALFRESH RECIPIENTS ACCESS TO ORGANIC PRODUCE WHILE SUPPORTING FARMERS, FOOD AND ARTISAN VENDORS WITH THEIR SMALL BUSINESSES.
