DUE TO COVID-19, WE CANCELED ALL IN-PERSON PROGRAMS NORMALLY WEEK-LONG (RUSTICATIO) AND WEEKEND (BIDUUM) LATIN IMMERSION EXPERIENCES WHERE ONLY LATIN IS SPOKEN. IN THEIR PLACE, WE HELD AN ONLINE SUMMER PROGRAM CALLED SCHOLAE RETIALES SALVIANAE WHICH OFFERED A 5-DAY PROGRAM DEDICATED TO SERVING BEGINNING SPEAKERS (13 PARTICIPANTS) AND 20 INDIVIDUAL READING/DISCUSSION SESSIONS FOR ADVANCED SPEAKERS (AVERAGING 8 PARTICIPANTS EACH). BASED ON INDIVIDUAL SURVEYS, SCHOLAE RETIALES SALVIANAE 2021 WAS A GREAT SUCCESS.
