TO CREATE CULTURALLY SPECIFIC AWARENESS TO PREVENT AND END TRAUMA RESULTING FROM DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT BY HELPING PEOPLE DEVELOP HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS. WE ENVISION A WORLD IN WHICH ALL PEOPLE ARE SAFE AND FREE FROM VIOLENCE IN THEIR HOMES.

2022 WAS A TOUGH YEAR. WE EXPERIENCED A TURNOVER IN STAFF BEGINNING IN 2021, WHICH CONTINUED INTO 2022. PEOPLE ARE LEARNING HOW TO WORK IN THE PUBLIC AGAIN AFTER COVID. MANY FUNDERS ARE TAKING THEIR TIME TO FUND GRANT, WHICH IS HAVING AN IMPACT IN OUR BOTTOM LINE. WE HAVE GRANTS WITH LARGER DOLLAR VALUE, HOWEVER, THEY ARE HARDER TO GET THE GRANT FUNDED, AND TAKING LONGER FOR THEM TO BE FUNDS IN THE NEED IS HIGH AND WE ARE DOING THE BEST POSSIBLE AT THIS TIME.
