CENTRAL COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC., DURING THE TAX YEAR 2021, PROVIDED SOCIAL WELFARE SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LANGUAGE INTERPRETATION, WELFARE INFORMATION UPDATE SERVICE, MEDICAL BENEFIT ORIENTATION, MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, AND FOOD DISTRIBUTION TO SENIORS AND LOW-INCOME GROUPS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. CCSI HAS HELPED ABOUT 280 PEOPLE UPDATE THEIR WELFARE BENEFITS INFORMATION FOR LAMTA TRANSPORTATION BENEFITS (LIFE PROGRAM) AND LA FOOD BANK BENEFITS. DURING THE PANDEMIC - SAFER AT HOME TIME, CCSI WORKED AS A COMPONENT OF THE FOOD DISTRIBUTION INDUSTRY, ONE OF THE 16 ESSENTIAL CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE SECTORS PROVIDING FREE FOOD TO THE PUBLIC. CCSI HAS RECEIVED A TOTAL VALUE OF $13949.00 USDA TEFAP FOOD FROM LA FOOD BANK AND PACKED 895 FOOD BAGS, EACH OF WHICH WEIGHS 7 TO 9 LBS DISTRIBUTING TO LOW-INCOME FAMILIES CONSISTING OF 1556 MEMBERS. CCSI HAS RECEIVED A TOTAL VALUE OF $5580.00 BUS TOKENS AND TAXI COUPONS FROM MTA PARTNER AGENCY, WHICH ARE DISTRIBUTED TO LOW-INCOME SENIORS FOR THEIR MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION NEEDS. THIS PROGRAM GAVE AWAY 558 TAXI COUPONS TO HELP 280 LOW-INCOME SENIORS FOR THEIR FOOD, JOB, AND MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION USAGE. CCSI HAS ATTRACTED $400.00 IN-KIND VOLUNTARY SERVICES INTO THE PROGRAM. CCSI HAS DONATED $2140.90 TO LA REGIONAL FOOD BANK TO HELP THE LOW-INCOME PUBLIC AND DONATED A TOTAL VALUE OF $1000.00 MEDICAL SUPPLY TO USC MEDICAL CENTER.
