CLINICAL RESEARCH OF ORTHOPEDIC KNEE SURGERY. PRESENTATION OF FINDINGS TO PUBLIC AND MEDICAL AUDIENCES.

Part 3
THE FOUNDATION IS CURRENTLY FOLLOWING 350 PATIENTS WHO HAVE UNDERGONE 50 PATELLOFEMORAL ARTHROPLASTIES, 150 MEDICAL UNICOMPARTMENTAL ARTHROPLASTIES, 30 LATERAL UNICOMPARTMENTAL ARTHROPLASTIES, AND 170 TOTAL KNEE ARTHROPLASTIES. THE FOUNDATION IS PROSPECTIVELY MONITORING THEM FOR 5 AND 10 YEAR FOLLOW-UP EVALUATIONS. THE FOUNDATION IS ALSO STUDYING THE RESULTS COMPARING HYALGAN INJECTIONS, PRP INJECTIONS AND WHARTON'S JELLY STEM CELL INJECTIONS IN PATIENTS WITH DEGENERATIVE ARTHRITIS. THE FOUNDATION IS ENROLLING PATIENTS IN THEIR STUDY AT THIS TIME.
THE FOUNDATION MONITOERS NONSURGICAL PROCEDURES AND DIAGNOSTIC PROTOCOLS INCLUDING MRI ANALYSES AND EXERCISE ROUTINES TO REDUCE PAIN.NEW TECHNIQUES ARE PUBLISHED IN PAPERS,JOURNALS AND ORTHOPEDIC COMMITTEES.MANY ORGANIZATIONS BENEFIT FROM THE FOUNDATIONS LECTURES.
