THE ANGELES CHAPTER FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO PROTECTING AND RESTORING THE ENVIRONMENT BY EDUCATING AND SUPPORTING LOCAL EFFORTS, ESPECIALLY IN LOS ANGELES AND ORANGE COUNTIES, PRIMARILY THROUGH SUPPORT OF THE CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THE ANGELES CHAPTER OF THE SIERRA CLUB. WE ASSIST IN OUTREACH TO THE COMMUNITIES TO INCREASE THEIR UNDERSTANDING, APPRECIATION, AND PROTECTION OF THE NATURAL WORLD AROUND THEM. AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT OF THAT IS SUPPORTING PROGRAMS WHICH TAKE CHILDREN AND YOUTH TO NATURAL AREAS, AND TRAINING LEADERS TO SERVE THEM.

GRANTS TO SIERRA CLUB FOUNDATION FOR PRINTING & MAILING OF SOCAL NOW NEWSLETTER (ONLY EDUCATIONAL CONTENT), AND FOR TRAVEL EXPENSES OF INSPIRING CONNECTIONS OUTDOORS TO INTRODUCE DISADVANTAGED YOUTHS TO NATURAL AREAS, AND FOR EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AT ENVIRONMENTAL FAIRS. INCLUDES SCF - ACTIVIST ACADEMY & SOCALNOW. PLUS GRANT FOR NATURE FOR ALL & TREEPEOPLE
