IN SUPPORT OF RESEARCH FOR A NEW BOOK ON THE SUBJECT OF JEWISH OPERAS. THE BOOK WILL BE WRITTEN BY NOTED MUSICOLOGIST DR. NEIL LEVIN. THE GRANT WILL PROVIDE FUNDING FOR SEVERAL RESEARCHERS IN THE U.S. WORKING AS INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS, AND FOR SUBSCRIPTIONS TO JOURNALS, ARCHIVAL MATERIALS, PRINTING AND OFFICE SUPPLIES. NO FUNDS HAD BEN DISBURSED P;RIOR TO THE YEAR END OF JEWISH MUSIC FOUNDATION'S FISCAL YEAR END JANUARY 31, 2020.
