SINCE 1978, GOOD NEWS COMMUNICATIONS HAS REMAINED COMMITTED TO REDEEMING THE VALUES OF THE ENTERTAINMENT MEDIA FOR THE BENEFIT OF OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN ACCORDING TO BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES:1) BY INFLUENCING MEDIA EXECUTIVES TO ADOPT HIGHER STANDARDS, AND2) BY INFORMING AND EQUIPPING THE PUBLIC, ESPECIALLY CHURCHGOING FAMILIES.

GOOD NEWS' MINISTRY IS DEDICATED TO REDEEMING THE VALUES OF THE MASS MEDIA OF ENTERTAINMENT WITH UNDERTAKINGS IN TELEVISION, RADIO, AND PUBLICATIONS. UNDER THE MOVIEGUIDE BANNER, IT HOSTS A WEBSITE THAT OFFERS REVIEWS OF MOVIES FROM A BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE. EACH YEAR GOOD NEWS HOSTS AN AWARDS GALA IN HOLLYWOOD, WHERE IT REWARDS THE BEST FAMILY-FRIENDLY MOVIES AND TV SHOWS IN THE PREVIOUS YEAR, AS WELL AS THE MOST MORAL AND CHRIST-CENTERED FILMS FOR MATURE AUDIENCES. STATISTICAL ANALYSIS BASED ON GOOD NEWS' WORK IS PRESENTED DURING THE GALA, SHOWING STUDIO EXECUTIVES AND FILM MAKERS THAT FAMILY-FRIENDLY CONTENT CAN SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASE THE PROFITABILITY OF THEIR MOVIES.
