THE EXEMPT PURPOSE IS THE CARE OF AND ADOPTION PROGRAM FOR HOMELESS DOGS AND CATS. DURING THE PAST YEAR APPROX. 550 PETS WERE PLACED IN HOMES AND ABOUT 200 PETS WERE CARED FOR DAILY. THE PETS ARE RESCUED FROM PUBLIC SHELTERS AND PEOPLE WHO CAN NO LONGER CARE FOR THEM. ALL PETS CARED FOR ARE SPAYED OR NEUTERED. RECIPIENTS OF PETS ARE EDUCATED REGARDING SPAYING OR NEUTERING OF THE PET.
MAILINGS TO OVER 300,000 HOMES THAT INCLUDED EDUCATING AND RAISING THE AWARENESS OF RECIPIENTS AS TO THE ALTERNATIVE OF ADOPTION PROGRAMS FOR THE HUMANE TREATMENT OF ANIMALS, RATHER THAN DESTROYING THEM.
PRODUCTION AND MAILING OF SEMI-ANNUAL NEWSLETTERS WITH EDUCATIONAL AND PLACEMENT INFORMATION TO APPROXIMATELY 13,000 HOMES.
