VOLUNTEERS FOR INTER-VALLEY ANIMALS PROVIDES CARE & SHELTER TO ABANDONED ANIMALS.ACTIVITIES INCLUDE A NO-KILL CAT SHELTER, ADOPTION SHELTER, DOG ADOPTIONS, LONG TERM CARE FOR CATS AND A FERAL CAT SANCTUARY.

ADOPTION CENTER, 133 NORTH D ST, LOMPOC, CA. 93436THE ADOPTION CENTER PROVIDES SPAY AND NEUTER SERVICES FOR CATS & DOGS, VETERINARIAN CARE FOR SICK OR INJURED ANIMALS, FOOD, LITTER AND SUPPLIES AS NEEDED TO HOUSE ANIMALS IN A NO KILL SHELTER. DOG ADOPTIONS ARE FACILITATED AT THE SHELTER TO KEEP DOGS OUT OF COUNTY SHELTERS.


VIVA PROVIDES A LONG TERM CARE FACILITY FOR CATS WHOSE OWNERS HAVE DIED OR CAN NO LONGER CARE FOR THEIR PETS. VIVA ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CARE OF THE CATS INCLUDING FOOD, LITTER & MEDICAL CARE.


VIVA ESTABLISHED THE FERAL CAT SANCTUARY IN 2000. FERAL CATS ARE CAUGHT, NEUTERED AND RELEASED. IF THE FERAL CATS CANNOT BE RELEASED TO A COLONY DUE TO UNSAFE CONDITIONS, LACK OF FEED OR THE COLONY HAS DIMINISHED, THE CATS ARE HOUSED AT THE SANCTUARY WHERE THEY WILL BE SAFE AND CARED FOR.
