IMPLANT FIRMLY IN THE CHILDREN OF THE COMMUNITY THE IDEALS OF GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, HONESTY, LOYALTY, COURAGE AND RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY SO THAT THEY MAY BE WELL ADJUSTED, STRONGER AND HAPPIER CHILDREN AND GROW TO BE GOOD, DECENT, HEALTHY AND TRUSTWORTHY CITIZENS.

DURING 2021-2022 FISCAL YEAR, ENCINITAS LITTLE LEAGUE HELD ONE FULL FALL BASEBALL SEASON AND ONE FULL SPRING BASEBALL SEASON. ALL STARS OCCURRED AS IN PRECOVID TIMES AND THE LEAGUE HOSTED A JUNIORS ALL-STAR TOURNAMENT. ----DURING THE SPRING SEASON WHICH ATTRACTS THE MOST PARTICIPANTS, ELL COMPRISED OVER 600 PLAYERS AGES 5-14 ON 54 TEAMS WITH 6 LEVELS OF RECREATIONAL BASEBALL. THE DIVISIONS ARE T-BALL, ROOKIES (MACHINE PITCH), MINOR B, MINOR A, MAJORS (10-12-YEAR OLD), AND JUNIORS (13-14-YEAR OLD). THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, OUR LEAGUE BACKGROUND CHECKED, TRAINED AND SUPPORTED OVER 125 VOLUNTEER COACHES, OVER 50 TEAM PARENTS, AND OVER 100 OTHER VOLUNTEERS SERVING THE YOUTH PLAYERS AS SCOREKEEPERS, VOLUNTEER CONCESSION STAND WORKERS AND EVENT VOLUNTEERS. THE LEAGUE WAS ABLE TO RAISE FUNDS TO MAINTAIN THREE BASEBALL FIELDS AS WELL AS UPDATING AND MAINTAINING AGED FIELD AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT. OVER THE COURSE OF THE 2021-2022 SEASONS WE WERE ALSO ABLE TO PROVIDE FREE OR REDUCED REGISTRATION FOR FAMILIES WITH MULTIPLE CHILDREN PARTICIPATING IN OUR PROGRAMS.-----FOR THE FALL 2022 SEASON, WE ENROLLED 134 PLAYERS AND 20 COACHES.
