TO BRING TOGETHER LIKE-MINDED COMPANIES & COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS WHO ARE COMMITTED TO THE FUTURE OF HAWAII'S YOUTH & EDUCATION AND ELIMINATING THE CAUSES OF HAWAII'S HOMELESSNESS.

IN RESPONSE TO THE STATE'S GROWING HOMELESS CRISIS, KAHAUIKI VILLAGE IS A PLANTATION STYLE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DESIGNED TO HOUSE HAWAII'S HOMELESS FAMILIES. KAHAUIKI VILLAGE IS A GROUNDBREAKING INITIATIVE THAT MAXIMIZES PUBLIC AND PRIVATE RESOURCES TO IMPLEMENT A LONG-TERM STRATEGY AIMED TO ACHIEVE THE FOLLOWING OUTCOMES: PROVIDE HOMES FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES; PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FOR HOMELESS PARENTS; OFFER ACCOMODATION OPTIONS FOR EXTENDED FAMILIES. KAHAUIKI VILLAGE IS A PROPOSED COMMUNITY OF APPROXIMATELY 150 ONE AND TWO BEDROOM HOMES. WHEN COMPLETED, KAHAUIKI VILLAGE IS EXPECTED TO HOUSE OVER 600 ADULTS AND CHILDREN. AT THE END OF 2019, 30 UNITS WERE CONSTRUCTED AND COMPLETED.


A PROGRAM IN THE STATE OF HAWAII THAT ASSISTS AND FACILITATES THE SPELLING BEE COMPETITIONS. THE PROGRAM ALSO SERVES TO ASSIST THE STATE'S ELIGIBLE WINNERS TO GO TO REGIONAL AND NATIONAL COMPETITIONS.
