THE ORGANIZATION SERVES MEALS FIVE DAYS PER WEEK TO PERSONS CONFINED TO THEIR HOMES BECAUSE OF ILLNESS, ACCIDENT, OR AGING WHO CANNOT COOK OR SHOP FOR THEMSELVES. WEEKEND MEALS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO NEED THEM. VOLUNTEERS DELIVER THE MEALS USING THEIR AUTOMOBILES, GAS, AND INSURANCE. THE VOLUNTEERS PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 9,545 SERVICE HOURS TO HELP OUR THREE PART-TIME EMPLOYEES RUN THIS PROGRAM. THE ORGANIZATION SERVED 34,067 MEALS. IN APRIL 2021, THE ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED A VOLUNTEER-BASED WELLNESS CALL PROGRAM FOR CLIENTS, GIVING SPECIAL CONSIDERATION TO THOSE WITHOUT FAMILY SUPPORT. CULVER PALMS MEALS ON WHEELS ALSO DELIVERED FOODBANK BOXES AND FULFILLED MANY EMERGENCY REQUESTS DURING THE 2021/2022 FISCAL YEAR. IN SEPTEMBER 2021, THEY RESUMED THEIR BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION PROGRAM AND GAVE OUT 70 BIRTHDAY GIFT BAGS. IN DECEMBER 2021, 160-HOLIDAY BAGS WERE PREPARED AND DISTRIBUTED FROM DONATIONS FROM THE COMMUNITY.
