THE MUSEUM PROVIDES PROGRAM SERVICES AND ON-SITE EXHIBITS FOR THE BENEFIT OF SCHOOL CHILDREN, ADULTS, AND SCHOLARS. THE MUSEUM'S PURPOSE IS TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A PUBLIC HISTORICAL MUSEUM TO INCREASE AND DISSEMINATE KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF THE LOCAL AREA. THE CITY OF LOMPOC DONATES USE OF MUSEUM FACILITIES FOR $1 PER YEAR. FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THIS DONATION IS $27,300 PER YEAR.
THE MUSEUM PROVIDES PROGRAMS HEIGHTENING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF NATIONAL HISTORICAL EVENTS, OTHER CULTURES AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES.
